Featured in Bishop State’s Adult Education April 2015 Newsletter
In April 2015, I was featured in the Student Spotlight column of Bishop State Community College‘s Adult Education newsletter. For each issue, Bishop State selects a GED graduate or current student from the Adult Education program to highlight their academic achievements.
My name is Amanda Scott and because I was homeschooled and did not receive an accredited high school diploma, I had to enroll in Bishop State Community College’s Adult Education Program to prepare to take my GED exam. Although I did not have much experience in a traditional class room setting, I was able to adapt to the learning environment quickly and excel in my studies. I graduated with my General Education Development (GED) from Bishop State Community College in fall 2013.
